If your phone cannot receive an SMS from Ovi, you can manually create, configure and activate your S60 sync profile.
- To create the profile, select “Menu”, then “Connect”, then “Sync”.
- Go to “Options” and select “New sync profile”. Do not copy values from other profiles.
- To configure the “Sync” profile, enter the details:
- Sync profile name: Accept the Ovi service default account name
- Select Applications, then Contacts.
- Contacts database: Select it, then Include in sync enter: “Yes”, then “Remote database”, and enter: ./Contact/Unfiled then return to “Applications”.
- Calendar database: Select it, then Include in sync enter: “Yes”, then “Remote database”, and enter: ./EventTask/Tasks then return to “Applications”.
- Notes database: Select it, then Include in sync enter: “Yes”, then “Remote database”, and enter: ./Note/Unfiled then return to “Sync profile”.
- Select Connection settings
- Server version: Leave the default value.
- Server ID: Enter: Ovi.com.
- Data bearer: Select it, then enter: Internet.
- Access point: Select the preferred access point.
- Host Address: https://sync.ovi.com/services/syncml
- Port:443
- User name: xxxyyxyxyx
- Password: jhjhhjhjhjhjh
- Allow sync requests: Leave the default value.
- Accept all sync requests: Leave the default value.
- Network authentication: This setting depends on the details of your data connectivity service. If you select “Yes”, you have to fill also your Nokia account username and password.
